Welcome to the Central Archaeology Group
The Central Archaeology Group (CAG) was established in Ontario in 2006 by a group of young and energetic professionals to provide quality and innovative services in the field of Cultural Resource Management (CRM).  The Central Archaeology Group provides a full-range of services, which includes archaeological, cultural landscape, and built heritage assessments to the public and private sectors in Ontario, Manitoba, Saskatchewan, and the Maritime Provinces (Nova Scotia, New Brunswick, and Prince Edward Island).  Since its inception, The Central Archaeology Group has undertaken numerous projects in diverse environments and under a variety of conditions.  Whether it is a hydro corridor or new house construction, no project is too big or too small and we strive to maintain your budget and finish the project on time, every time.

We maintain a staff of professional staff archaeologists and cultural heritage specialists who possess extensive experience with archaeological and heritage impact assessments, heritage resource planning, and architectural heritage reviews.

Our approach is built on:

  • The expertise and professionalism of our staff;
  • Building positive and responsive relationships with clients, First Nations, and regulatory agencies;
  • Delivering reliable, quality work, on time and on budget;
  • Focusing on communication and continuous improvement in everything we do; and above all,
  • Operating with integrity, respect, and honesty in all aspects of our business.
